The Victoria House
This gracious historical property,
dating from the early 20th
century, was built by prominent cigar
manufacturer, William Otis Johnson. It
is located just two blocks from
Duval Street
, in the heart of Key West ’s
Old Town , within walking distance of restaurants, shops,
galleries, museums, theaters, seaports,
Atlantic beaches, Gulf sunsets, water
sports, and many other
Key West
attractions. The harmony, proportion,
and scale of its architectural
features—crown moldings, arched transoms
and windows, multi-light French doors,
large six over six windows, high
ceilings, and gracious rooms—reflect the
elegant lifestyle of early Key West
entrepreneurs. Porches, terraces, and
decks provide a seamless flow from the
lovely interior spaces to the tropical
gardens, pool, and spa. The house is
constructed of
Dade County pine and is furnished with antique and
contemporary furniture, prints, artwork,
and Key West memorabilia. |
